Ron Oberleitner of Princeton NJ, father of Robby - an 8 year old with autism, completed a 6,700 mile bicycle trip across across the country on July 19th as part of Cycle USA (Cycle to Understand and Solve Autism).   Ron joined fellow cyclists John Keating (Canada) and Bobby Scott (England) to raise money for
autism
research and to heighten public awareness.
Cycle USA consisted of over 200 exciting events and educational opportunities along the bike journey, visiting more than 44 major cities in 84 days. Literally hundreds of people joined the trio enroute on bikes and thousands of people came to see them in events that ranged from community picnics to black tie dinners to throwing out the first pitch at a professional baseball game.
To bring more excitement to the journey, Ron teamed with 56 different 'stokers' on a tandem bike who will live on as the
Random Tandem Jammin' Riders.
